Diversity & Inclusion Committee


The Seattle Federal Executive Board is committed to assisting federal agencies in cultivating a culturally inclusive work environment where diversity of thought and expression are valued.

The SFEB Diversity and Inclusion Committee plans, coordinates, and advises on policies, objectives, and programs for the SFEB. Our goals reflect national goals and regulations from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). ensure organizational continuity among the special emphasis and diversity programs.

Activities:
The Committee coordinates activities, celebrations and seminars in accordance with national themes and directives. These will include though not limited to: National Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, Native American Heritage Month, Asian Pacific Islander Month, Pride Month, International Person with Disabilities month, Diversity trainings, lectures or workshops.

Committee Membership:
Committee membership is voluntary and open to any interested federal staff. The committee is comprised of members representing wide cross section of federal agencies.
